Serdar's paintings are simply like a classical music concerto. Sometimes you feel the soft and sorrowful sound of violin on the surface and sometimes you move forward spontaneously in the painting with the help of colorful and transparent areas that breathe. Just at that moment, you are startled by a strong voice. There comes a figure that confronts you with yourself with a shocking scream. A scream whose brutality, anger and gloom you share… Living faces that you can connect … Faces that come out of him and belong to you. Untimely figures that astonish you by revealing this with a great elegancy and a strong fiction; Plain, non-emulating, genuine and deep. And then you notice a landscape. Trunks, the witness of time, where we question our formation and existence. A fish that silently slips away witnesses you. You take part in the journey on the trail of a spatula that comes with an excitement and a big stroke. A female body appears among the fogs with pomegranates and water lilies… All come from the life. All hail the great master who presents this to us in a magical way and involves us in his story.
